Problem-solving is a mental process that involves discovering, analyzing and solving problems. The ultimate goal of problem-solving is to overcome obstacles and find a solution that best resolves the issue.
Problem-solving is mainly associated with the cognitivist learning theory as the students are explicitly taught specific cognitive strategies. It helps student to promote students’ higher-order thinking skills such as logic, reasoning, pattern recognition and strategies. When they go through the program (problem-solving), they gradually move from simple trial-and-error to more logical and systematic thinking processes.

Actually electronic books are the electronic version of book but are supplemented with other multimedia inf0ormations like sound, video, animations, and spoken sounds. Students can use it as a tutor to learn reading, spelling and word skills.
